Hand out the worksheet and have the students circle their birth month and date. The dates are within ranges of 5 (1st to 5th for example).
They make pairs and ask 'When is your birthday?' and answer 'My birthday is ...' They then circle that month and that date range on their worksheet and make new pairs.
Once they get a bingo line they come to a teacher and get a stamp and then continue trying to get another bingo.

I've also included a short powerpoint quiz on Canadian holidays. The first few are pretty easy and the last few have hints. I use it after initially practicing the months. There is another month quiz included. Not sure where it's from and I've never used it but you might find it useful.

Also included is Lucky 31st. This is a group game that kids find fun. After practicing the numbers (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc) the group determines their order and then take turns calling out the numbers and circling them on the paper. When it is a student's turn they can call out 1, 2 or 3 numbers. The student that gets to call out 31st is the winner. I generally set a time limit so faster groups can play a few times.
